Representatives of KhNMU underwent an internship in Germany

From November 12-26, representatives of KhNMU underwent an internship for teachers of medical faculties “Ukraine digital – Clinical reasoning in medical education” with the support of Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) in Germany.

Maria Oliynyk and Volodymyr Fedorov, associate professors of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 3 and Endocrinology, as well as Victoria Koval, a postgraduate student of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2 become the representatives of KhNMU.

During the first part of the program, employees of the Institute for Research in Medical Didactics and Education at Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich (Institut für Didaktik und Ausbildungsforschung der LMU München) conducted trainings in medical didactics and teaching methods. Together with the participants of the project, educational plans and the concept of integration of educational clinical cases into the plans of medical faculties were developed.

In the second part of the program, which took place in Berlin, participants with their colleagues from the Charité clinic, developed the concept of curriculum development and mapping using the LOOP-share online platform and were able to integrate selected virtual clinical cases into the educational process.

In addition, the participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the cultural and historical heritage of such iconic cities as Munich and Berlin.
