The German University Clinic Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein) has been supporting the development of medicine in Ukraine for several years in a row and strengthening partnerships with many Ukrainian clinics.

Kharkiv National Medical University and Department of Surgery No. 2, Department of Health of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, staff of the Kharkiv Regional Hospital, which is the clinical base of many university departments, are sincerely grateful to our good friends from Germany, namely: Schleswig-Holstein Prime Minister Daniel Guenther, Director of the University Clinic Professor Jens Scholz and our compatriot – the leading surgeon of the same clinic – Gregory Lapshin for assistance in the form of extremely modern equipment – anaesthesia station Dräger!

The Kharkiv Regional Hospital received the Dräger Atlan A350 anaesthetic breathing apparatus as a gift – the latest equipment with a wide range of functions that help make the anaesthesia process safer for patients and clinical staff.

This is the most modern equipment in the arsenal of our operating room, which is not available in all clinics in Germany. The workstation can be customized according to specific needs because we perform a wide range of surgical operations on patients, this station is adapted to the means of inhalation anaesthesia registered in Ukraine, with which we work. Also, this equipment can be used for both adults and children, and the use of equipment expands the possibilities for providing quality care to our patients.

Thank you so much for your support and help!

Together to victory!
