A student online conference took place

On December 22nd, at the department of Latin Language and Medical Terminology KhNMU was held students’ online scientific conference “Latin language in modern medical terminology: traditions and novelty.” At the beginning of the meeting associates professor N.V. Derevyanchenko made a welcoming speech. During the section meetings, problematic issues related to the semantics and etymology of medical terms, as well as the place and functioning of the Latin language in modern medical terminology were considered. All the participants of different studies years prepared informative and actual reports, which indicates high relevance of the conference.
