Donor's Day at KhNMU

On February 22, in the walls of the Kharkiv National Medical University, with the support of the administration of KhNMU, the Donor Day was held, organized by the First Trade Union Assosiation of students, postgraduat, doctoral students and clinical residents of KhNMU in cooperation with the Student Government of KhNMU.

Every year, voluntary blood donation saves millions of lives around the world, and in the conditions of a full-scale war, the need for blood has increased dramatically.

Students and employees of the university joined the Donor Day – thanks to joint efforts, 52 doses of blood were collected for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are so necessary for our heroes! Just imagine how many lives will be saved!

Everyone who attended this event and became a blood donor had the opportunity to answer interesting questions on the topic “Donation in Ukraine” and increase their knowledge on this topic, and the quiz itself was conducted using an interactive screen and a projector. Each participant received a piece of candy with a card with a QR code that allows you to take the full version of the quiz and participate in the merch draw. Donors also created a Donor Board with their own hands, on which everyone wrote their name.

The trade union organization and the Student Government of the KhNMU express their gratitude to all students and employees of the university with a big heart! You are incredible! We are proud of you!
