The department provides military training for students according to the training program of medical service reserve officers.

Students gain knowledge in the following disciplines: “Premedical care in emergency situations”, “General military training and methods of working with personnel”, “General tactics”, “Organization of medical support of troops”, “Medical care for the wounded in the pre-hospital stage”, “Military toxicology, radiology and medical protection”».

Students of medical faculties study at the University:
– Kharkiv National Medical University,
– Medical Faculty of Kharkiv National University. V. N. Karazin,
– Faculty of Pharmacy, National University of Pharmacy.

In addition, the department also teaches military-oriented disciplines:
– “Life safety. Basics of bioethics and biosafety”,
– “Pre-edical aid in extreme situations”,
– “Fundamentals of the organization of medical support of the population and troops.”

Teaching is conducted in Ukrainian and English.

Assessment of the chemical situation”, “Planning of medical and sanitary provision of the population during emergencies” etc. in Ukrainian and English.
