Thematic improvement course for doctors was held

From November 28 to December 9, a 2-week course of thematic improvement “Emergency urgent medical care in emergency situations” was held as part of the cooperation between KhNMU and the Center of Emergency Care and Disaster Medicine.

The event took place on the basis of the Department of Emergency and Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Traumatology and was intended for doctors who were during 2022 on the territory of the Kharkiv region occupied by the Russian troops.

In total, 22 emergency medicine doctors underwent thematic improvement. These are strong people, who did not break down and in difficult times for our country, continued, risking their own health and life, to fulfill their professional duty, providing qualified emergency medical care to all victims on the occupied territories.

This training was the acquisition of new invaluable knowledge not only for the course participants, but also for the lecturers of our university. Most of the doctors are graduates of our university, and we are proud that they are examples of courage, bravery and resilience.

At the end of the course, all participants received a certificate of completion of the thematic improvement, thanked the staff of the department and personally the head of the department Professor Mykola Berezka for the training, and also wished for further development in mutual cooperation with the Center of Emergency Care and Disaster Medicine.
