Workshop of Moodle courses

On April 17, the Department of Internal Medicine and Occupational Diseases provided a special workshop for teaching staff on the creation of high-quality, highly professional Moodle courses for distance learning. The main goal of this workshop was to improve the knowledge and skills of the department staff to create and improve their Moodle courses. This event was conducted by two experienced and qualified speakers, associate professor Natalia Sukhonos and assistant professor Anastasiya Melenevych.

These authors created the next Moodle courses – “Internal Diseases” for third-year English medium students of the dental faculty, and “Military Field Therapy” for fifth-year English medium medical faculty students. In April 2023, the specified courses were accredited by an expert commission headed by the director of the Scientific Research Institute of Education Quality of the Kharkiv National Medical University. The courses were highly rated by experts and reviewers, and the staff who wrote the courses received appreciation for their work in creating courses that met all internal and external criteria.

The Department of Internal and Professional Diseases continues to work on improving its courses on the Moodle platform, and makes maximum efforts to obtain accreditation and recognition of other distance courses. The result and the ultimate goal of the seminar emphasize the department’s desire to provide students with high-quality education and training, even in the context of the current extremely difficult conditions of study. And it shows the department’s desire for excellence and constant efforts to provide its employees with the latest knowledge and skills necessary to create modern, attractive and effective Moodle courses.
