Event from the cycle "Library and studentship: dialogues"

On March 30, at 3:30 p.m., a round table was held on the Google Meet platform on the topic: “Youth subcultures: comics and fan fiction” from the series “Library and Studentship: Dialogues”

Students and guests invited by the library joined the video meeting. The event was organized by the Scientific Library together with the media space sector of the Student Government of KhNMU with the assistance of the National Institute of Education Quality (moderators: Director of the National Library of KhNMU Iryna Kyrychok and Kateryna Ostroukhova, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine).

3 speakers prepared interesting and informative reports with presentations about comics and fanfiction, informed the listeners in detail about these two types of creative story writing (Kateryna Ostroukhova – Topic “Youth “folk” creativity”. Hanna Demchenko – Topic “Comic culture in Ukraine and the world “. Kristina Zhuravlyova – Topic “Fanfiction as a phenomenon of mass literature”).

The event was held in a cozy atmosphere, there was a lot of live communication, questions, students asked interesting, constructive questions both personally to the speakers and teachers, and in the joint chat of the conference.

All those present discovered a lot of new and interesting things about these areas of creativity for themselves and their nuances.
