An open training on psychosomatics was held

On December 7, 2023, an open training was held for students of higher education of KhNMU “Psychosomatics as the body’s reaction to stress and unconscious complexes of old relationships” by the external relations sector of the Student Self-Government of KhNMU as part of cooperation between the department of sports, physical and rehabilitation medicine, physical therapy, of occupational therapy of KhNMU and the department of psychology, pedagogy and language training of KhNUMG named after O.M. Beketova.

Within the framework of this cooperation to hold various lectures and events among the students of the two higher educational institutions, with the prospect of establishing more inter-university relations through the exchange of knowledge among the youth of Ukraine is planned.

The presenter of the event was the head of the Department of Psychology, Pedagogy and Language Training of the KhNUMG named after O.M. Beketova, professor Oksana Rezvan. She interestingly told the audience about psychosomatic diseases that arise as a result of stress. Thanks to certain practical creative exercises, the participants gained awareness about the perception and regulation of their own emotional states, exchanged experiences and gained a lot of new knowledge, skills and positive emotions.

The event was attended by more than 30 participants, including students and university teachers.

We are sure that such events have been and will be useful for supporting education seekers’ awareness of certain psychological issues and their psychological support in general, which is especially relevant at the present time.
