Mykola Vitaliyovych revealed all the secrets of anesthesiology, as a profession in general, and also talked about possible directions of development in this profession.
The listeners learned the structure of the department of anesthesiology and intensive care, when they exist separately and when they are together. They also discussed possible narrow areas in which it is possible to develop successfully and gain experience.
The professor talked about the possibility of a private practice called “Pain medicine”. Now this activity is actively developing in all countries, and Mykola Vitaliyovych gave advice on how to implement it in this field of anesthesiology.
Students heard interesting cases from the professor’s practice, and also received advice to read more foreign literature and practice more, because without practice it is impossible to achieve success.
“Time to Choose” is a proven project among students that raises awareness of certain medical specialties, facilitates future career guidance of students, and answers questions about various specialties. This time there was a new format of the “question-answer” meeting, which was very much enjoyed by all the students of higher education and where everyone received reasonable answers to every question asked.
In general, within the framework of this project, more than 10 meetings with doctors of various specialties have already been held over the past six months, who are happy to share their experience with all students!
