KNMU students are participants in the educational event
On January 29, an educational offline medical event “Coffee alphabet: from the history of origin to the healing properties of coffee” was held for the residents of Kharkiv by the public education and volunteering sector of the Student Government of the KHNMU in conjunction with the “K.I.KAVA” coffee shop.
According to statistics, every year, people drink 400 billion cups of coffee drinks such as: espresso, Americano, latte, cappuccino and others. Therefore, we can really conclude that coffee plays a big role in a person’s everyday life and has an impact on health.
Medical students talked about the benefits and harms of coffee from a medical point of view, its medicinal properties, dispelled common myths, and also conducted a master class on art therapy “Coffee-art – Coffee fantasies” with the help of this drink.
The event itself can be divided into 3 parts:
- In the first, medical students talked about the benefits and harms of coffee from a medical point of view, its medicinal properties and dispelled common myths related to this drink.
- The second part included a knowledge test using an interactive crossword puzzle;
- In the third – the students conducted a master class on art therapy “Coffee-art – Coffee fantasies” for all present. At the master class, everyone had the opportunity to realize their dreams, fantasies and desires with the help of a few elements: a glass of coffee, paper and a brush.
At the end of the event, all participants received a merch from the Student Self-Government of KhNMU.
All participants actively participated in the discussion and master class and were satisfied with the event. In addition, all those present received a energizing mood for the whole day thanks to coffee, atmosphere and new useful knowledge!
We thank the “K.I.KAVA” coffee shop for its willingness to experiment in conducting events in new formats, as well as for the opportunity to hold an offline event for KhNMU students and all interested parties during this difficult time.
