Charitable aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Student Self-Government
The head of the Kharkiv branch of Biopharma Plasma, Halyna Siroshtan, together with the regional development manager of Biopharma, Yulia Dovzhenko, and the student asset of the Student Government of KhNMU from among the personnel donors of blood plasma, handed over blood plasma preparations in the amount of 600,000 hryvnias to the military as charitable aid.
These medicines are vitally needed by frontline boys and girls, as well as collapse victims diagnosed with crash syndrome or prolonged compression syndrome. This disease develops as a result of massive destruction of muscle tissue after compression of tissues or due to a strong impact, which in the conditions of constant missile attacks, enemy bombings and destruction of buildings is found quite often in war victims.
One of the most effective options for emergency therapy in such cases is the inpatient use of Albuven. A drug made exclusively from human blood plasma.
Almost 3 liters of plasma are needed to make 1 vial of such a drug – and this is possible if up to 5 donors (donations) of 650 ml are included in the donation. donor plasma.
During the last six months, the community of KHNMU became more active in matters of plasma and whole blood donation, and during the specified time, many liters of blood were donated, many of them free of charge, and funds were transferred to collections for the needs of the Armed Forces.
Unfortunately, the drugs that the military received as charitable aid will last for 1.5 – 2 weeks. In order for wounded defenders to still receive blood plasma preparations for free, the Kharkiv Biopharma Plasma branch needs blood plasma donors who will donate blood plasma for the needs of the Armed Forces.
Therefore, the issue of donation remains relevant at this time, therefore, we encourage everyone who has the opportunity to engage in regular donation with us. Link to the channel with donation announcements. Your blood saves lives!
We believe in Victory, glory to Ukraine!
