Representatives of the Center and students are constantly working to prevent violence, discrimination, and sexual harassment.
In the first year, while studying the humanities, students get acquainted with documents on these issues and receive information about trust boxes and other contacts. Students conduct pilot sociological research and prepare research papers on preventing and combating sexual harassment, human trafficking, violence, and discrimination.
A unique course, “Inequality and Discrimination in Society” (4th year, Department of Philosophy), has been developed and taught.
The Center for Gender Education, together with representatives of student government, participates in numerous events held in the city, attends trainings on combating violence. Some students are already coached to combat violence, discrimination and sexual harassment. Young university professors who volunteer at the Center for Gender Education run groups to prevent violence, discrimination, and sexual harassment.
