The event ‘Student Mobility’ took place

On 12 December 2025, the Student Council of the First Medical Faculty of the KhNMU Student Government held an event entitled “Student Mobility”.

The meeting was joined by Kateryna Medenets, a representative of the University’s Office of International Relations, Grant Activity, and Support for International Students.

The event aimed to increase students’ awareness of opportunities for academic and professional mobility and to provide practical tools for preparing successful internship applications.

Participants were introduced to various internship formats and received clarifications regarding the support offered by the International Office, partner programmes, competitions, and the documentation and application procedures.

A dedicated session featured “live stories” from student speakers: Polina Kyiko (Second Medical Faculty), Nina Ovcharenko (Third Medical Faculty), and Elina Chunikhovska (Third Medical Faculty). They shared first-hand experience of participating in mobility programmes, offered guidance on preparing a CV and motivation letter, highlighted common mistakes and key deadlines, and discussed practical aspects of travel and participation.

During the discussion, participants developed an understanding of the “basic document package” required for most internships, identified essential skills to strengthen during preparation, and outlined concrete steps to be taken in the near term.

The event helped students perceive mobility as a realistic, step-by-step process and provided clear guidance for further action. The Student Government sincerely thanks the International Office for its collaboration, professional support, and openness to student initiatives.
