Training on integrity and quality of education held

From November 7 to 9, 2025, a representative of the PO “Student Government of KhNMU”, Sofiya Skoromna took part in the UAS QA Pool training program organized by the Ukrainian Association of Students. The training was held at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.

The event began with a speech by Andrii Butenko, Head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, who emphasized the crucial role of students in building a culture of integrity and quality in education.

The program also featured Iryna Tymchenko, Head of the Department of Educational Programs and Outreach at the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, who shared valuable insights into the fundamentals of the anti-corruption system and mechanisms for ensuring integrity.

Oleksandr Khymenko, Head of the Secretariat, and Oksana Trebenko, Head of the Department for Analytical and Training Support, familiarized participants with the legal framework for quality assurance in higher education and the details of expert group work during accreditation procedures.

The comprehensive training program included:

• simulation of an accreditation visit;
• analysis of real-case examples from expert evaluations;
• discussions on the functions of students in internal and external quality assurance systems;
• practical sessions on preparing expert reports.

We sincerely thank the Ukrainian Association of Students, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, and the National Agency on Corruption Prevention for providing valuable knowledge on anti-corruption culture and for their detailed explanation of accreditation mechanisms. The training was both insightful and highly practical.
