An online meeting of the Academic Council of KhNMU took place

On December 16, a meeting of the Academic Council of Kharkiv National Medical University took place in a remote format using the Microsoft Teams program chaired by Volodymyr Lisovy.

On the agenda were heard the reports of the chairmen of specialized scientific councils for the defense of dissertations for 2021 and the task of improving their work in 2022.

Speakers at the meeting were: Professor Mykola Shcherbyna, Professor Yulia, Professor Iryna Sorokina, Professor Natalia Zheleznyakova and Professor Igor Zavgorodniy. They spoke about the composition of specialized councils, compliance with regulatory requirements, the dynamics of meetings, topics of defended works, as well as the activities of expert commissions and the implementation of the results of dissertations. Vice-Rector for Research Valery Myasoyedov presented information on the training of doctors of philosophy. Following the reports, the decision of the Academic Council was made.

Rector Valery Kapustnyk summed up the results of the work of the medical university staff. During the meeting, members of the Academic Council approved the materials of the scientific department and educational and methodological and scientific literature, as well as considered a number of current cases.
