Student's Day was celebrated at KhNMU
On November 14, 2024, Kharkiv National Medical University hosted a solemn award ceremony dedicated to the International Student Day.
International Student Day is a holiday that symbolizes the unity of students around the world and honors their important role in society. In KhNMU, this day was celebrated in a special way. The most active and successful students who distinguished themselves in studies, volunteering, sports, creativity, scientific activity and social life of the university was awarded.
During the ceremonial part, the vice-rector for scientific work Valery Myasoyedov addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of student youth as the future of the medical industry of Ukraine. He noted that it is young doctors who will stand at the forefront of medicine, introducing innovations and providing quality medical care help
The awards were given in the following categories:
- For excellent academic achievements.
- For active civic activity.
- The best sports youth.
- The best creative youth.
- For active volunteering.
- For significant achievements in research work.
- For volunteering at the Research Institute of Occupational Hygiene and Occupational Diseases.
Kateryna Topoliuk, head of the NGO “Student Government” of KhNMU, closed the event with her speech congratulating the students, and Vladyslav Hrytskov, deputy head of the PPO of KhNMU, joined the speech.
