KhNMU students took part in a symposium on dermatology
On May 6, students of KNMU higher education from the Student Government of KNMU took part in the 12th Symposium on Aesthetic Dermatology, which took place in Kyiv at «Osvitoria Hub». The main theme of the event is «The most important sun-dependent issues in aesthetic medicine – preparing for the season of active sun».
6 speakers took part in the symposium – Iryna Gedeon, Denys Silenko, Natalya Klyagina, Yehor Kolodchenko, Olga Mykhailychenko and Maryna Anfilova, who answered the most important questions that concern society:
- «Sunburn: is it always the negligence of the patient?»;
- «Facial skin burn – the main mistakes in treatment that can complicate the healing process»;
- «The black queen of oncology – how not to miss melanoma?»;
- «Sun-dependent hypopigmented spots – what diagnoses should be remembered?»;
- «Sun-dependent hyperpigmented spots – a palette of diagnoses and features of correction in the summer»;
- «Laser polishing of the face during the period of active sun – do we work or postpone it until the fall?»;
- «Are peelings, acids, topical retinoids, topical antibiotics compatible in the correction of acne and rosacea with the onset of active sun?».
We are very grateful to the organizers of the symposium for holding an informative and useful event, at which all participants had the opportunity to ask troubling questions and receive answers regarding an important and relevant topic for today.
