Students of KhNMU joined the National Assembly

Rom October 24 to 26, representatives of the PO “Student Government of KhNMU” — Sofiya Shevchenko, Anastasiia Voroshylo, Elina Chunikhovska, and Kateryna Khodykina — joined the 20th National General Assembly organized by the NGO “Ukrainian Medical Student Association” (UMSA).

The main purpose of the National Assembly was to gather local representatives from all over Ukraine to discuss key issues related to the development of the association and the creation of new projects.

Event included lectures and training sessions from outstanding doctors, important discussions on amendments to the organization’s statute, and the selection of delegates for the international assembly. In addition, participants enjoyed a thoughtfully planned social program that allowed them to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of jazz and get to know the wonderful city of Ivano-Frankivsk a little better.

Communication with representatives of other universities inspired the KhNMU delegates to create new initiatives aimed at improving student life, developing medical education, and strengthening cooperation. The students once again realized how important it is to stay active, open to new ideas, and united in pursuing common goals.

“We sincerely thank the Ukrainian Medical Students’ Association for the high level of organization, the warm atmosphere, the opportunity to exchange experiences, and the inspiration we brought back with us to Kharkiv. This event was not only educational but also truly motivational, and it will undoubtedly contribute to the further growth of our student community,” — said the students.
