Roundtable on working with databases
On December 13, an online round table “Must-have of the Modern Scientist: work with scientometric databases” was held. The event was organized by the Scientific library together with the Scientific society of students, graduate students, doctoral candidates and young scientists of KNMU.
The round table was attended by speakers’ vice-rector for scientific work Valeriy Myasoedov, director of the Scientific library Iryna Kyrychok, head of the sector of information and analytical work of the Scientific library Olga Kuts and graduate student Mykyta Markevych. During the roundtable, the participants considered the possibilities of the Scopus and Web of Science databases for research at all stages of the research process, discussed problematic situations in working with scientometric resources, methods of solving them, and looked for answers to various questions that concern researchers in working with these resources. The event brought together more than 30 people in total.
