Implementation of hibuki therapy continues

Recently the team of the public education and volunteering sector of the Student Government of KhNMU visited the National Children’s Specialized Hospital of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine “Okhmatdyt” in Kyiv.

At the meeting, KhNMU students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the psychological service “Okhmatdit”, to share the successes and experience of implementing Hibuka therapy in Kharkiv hospitals. Questions about the “Hibuki-therapy” method and a special therapeutic toy, “hug dog”, about the peculiarities of working with children and parents in hospitals were revealed in detail.

Representatives of the psychological service “Okhmatdit” and students of KhNMU actively participated in the discussion, discussed interesting questions about this method, and also conducted a practical mini-excursion about how exactly “Hibuki therapy” manifests its therapeutic possibilities!

We express our gratitude to the National Children’s Specialized Hospital of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine “Okhmatdyt” for the opportunity to start implementing Hibuki therapy on the basis of their hospital for all those who need it in this difficult time!

Currently, a meeting of the Student Government of KhNMU is planned with representatives of the State Institution “Institute of Health Protection of Children and Adolescents of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” (Okhmadit), Kharkiv, for the possibility of conducting classes with children by our volunteer students of KhNMU, as well as introducing the methodology Hibuki therapy.
