People have many values but the most important of them is health. Unfortunately, none of us can boast of great well-being throughout our life. However, you can always significantly improve its quality – and here medicine comes to the aid.

It is difficult to imagine our life without medicine, and medicine without doctors. The profession of a health care worker is considered to be the most humane and merciful. Therefore, we have a difficult task – to study and educate genuine doctors. And Kharkiv National Medical University has been successfully coping with this difficult mission for over 200 years.

Our University always takes the first places in the ratings among higher medical education institutions of Ukraine. Kharkiv National Medical University is also known abroad. Students from all over the world come to us to learn the medical profession and help people in their homelands. We are proud of our graduates, highly qualified specialists who work not only in clinics and hospitals but also in various fields of health care. The University is also actively establishing international connections so that our students have the opportunity to undergo internships in other countries and absorb highest international standards of healthcare.

We really liked the teaching methods and modern equipment used during classes at Kharkiv National Medical University. We would also like to emphasize the uniqueness of the Simulation Center, where students conduct practical exercises using simulators and computers programmed to simulate pathological and physiological processes in the body. The teaching methods and the atmosphere were conducive to a growing interest in learning. The friendliness of the students, the professionalism of the teachers, the richness of the curriculum made it possible to gain new knowledge. Communication of teachers with students is also a special factor in their development; despite his merits, the teacher communicates with his students on an equal footing, even joking from time to time. Under these conditions, a kind, positive learning atmosphere is created. We are very grateful to KhNMU for the invaluable experience and knowledge that we received!
