Kharkiv National Medical University expands its International Academic Partnerships
On the eve of Europe Day celebrations in European Union member states and EU candidate countries, Oksana Vasilyeva, Acting Head of the Department of International Relations, grant work, and support for international students at Kharkiv National Medical University, Oksana Vasilyeva, participated in international events in the Republic of Moldova dedicated to the development of European educational cooperation, academic mobility, and partnerships in higher education.
On May 4, 2026, the Study in Europe EU Policy Event Moldova 2026 took place in Chisinau, during which issues of higher education quality, European integration, modern approaches to ensuring educational quality, opportunities for international accreditation of educational programs, and the expansion of cooperation among universities in the European Higher Education Area were discussed.
On May 5, 2026, Kharkiv National Medical University participated in the Contact-Building Seminar Moldova 2026—an international contact seminar attended by representatives of universities, educational organizations, and international partners from various European countries. Particular attention was paid to developing new partnerships within the framework of European Union programs, notably Erasmus+, as well as expanding opportunities for academic mobility for students and faculty members.
Kharkiv National Medical University’s participation in international events in the Republic of Moldova marked an important step toward developing new academic partnerships, expanding international cooperation, and strengthening the integration of Ukrainian medical education into the European educational space.
