About us

The Scientific Library is an intellectual, communicational, innovational center of the university, a comfortable space for learning, research, collaboration and creativity. Founded in 1920, the library is now a user-oriented environment that helps provide information on educational and scientific processes of the university with quality national and international resources on physical and electronic media of own and remote generation, scientific cooperation and ranking, expanding web and presence of KhNMU and its scientists, develops remote service, uses social networks to establish stable information relationships and build dialogue with users.

Scientific Library
  • provides a wide range of services:
    • Obtaining textbooks, manuals, educational and methodological publications, scientific and artistic works, including in English, for study at home
    • Visiting reading rooms, preparing for international medical exams with the help of the USMLE-Rx online test program
    • Search for various sources of information, preparation of written works and citation of primary sources, prevention of plagiarism, work with scientometric databases, creation of profiles of scientists, etc.
    • Organization of intellectual leisure, educational events
    • Work in the Wiki team
    • Presentation of creative works of users on the pages of the library bulletin “Bibliotherapist”, including student issues and much more.
