International activities of the Department of Medical and Bioorganic Chemistry

2017

Associate professor T. S. Tishakova completed an internship at the Collegium Civitas University in Warsaw, Poland on November 20-25, 2017. The internship consisted of two modules. The first module included organizing training, comparative analysis of study programs in Poland and European Universities. Special attention was given to the grading system in Polish Universities. Questions of the postgraduate education in the European Union and grant programs were discusses during second module.

Associate professor T.S. Tishakova also became acquainted with the internationalization and mobility processes, innovative methods and technologies of education in Universities of Poland.

Associate professor S.М. Kozub November 06–18, 2017 completed an internship “Innovation in Science and Education: Contemporary Problems” at the University of Warsaw, Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, Poland. Polish scientists highlighted such areas of the university as psychology, law, computer science, chemistry, physics, and man in cyberspace. Education at university is also conducted in English. Classes are held in the system of e-learning and blended learning. Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University is the leader of education quality. She also visited a modern information technology center, which presented 2D and 3D digitalization equipment, 3D printing in SLG technology (Stereolithography) and CJP technology (color Jet printing).

2018

Professor G.О. Syrova and associate professor L.V. Lukianova on KhNMU delegation, on April 24–28, 2018, they took part in an internship at Technical University of Košice and DTI University in Dubnica (Slovakia-Czech Republic). As part of the internship, they participated in the seminar “European practices of strategic planning and implementation of internationalization of higher education.” Assoc. professor L.V. Lukyanova reported at the international scientific-practical conference “Ukraine – EU. Modern technologies, economics and law”, which focused on topical issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union in the fields of modern engineering, sustainable development, innovation in education and social work in psychology, philosophy, sociology, theory and practice of law, interdisciplinary approaches and current views on prospects in economics, management, social development and environmental protection.

During the internship, the staff of the department got acquainted with modern management methods of the educational process at Technical University of Košice and University of Trenčín Oleksandr Dubcek in Trenčín.

Associate professor О.L. Levashova on October 01–12, 2018 completed an internship at the University of Warsaw Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski, Poland.

Signs of academic plagiarism and means of ensuring academic integrity were considered during the internship. Polish educators shared their experience in conducting preventive work (teaching the basics of academic writing, promoting the principles of academic integrity), using organizational measures (regulations) and software to detect possible plagiarism, as well as creating a state-run national program “Antiplagiarism”. All universities and research institutions cooperate with this program and popularize principles of academic integrity among students, in particular the introduction of a course of academic integrity/basics of writing research papers and explanatory work.

2019

Senior teacher О.О. Zavada and assistant О.S. Kalinenko September 9–21, 2019 took part in the round table organized by the Higher Theological Seminary in Warsaw UKSW together with the Polish-Ukrainian Foundation “Institute of International Academic and Scientific Cooperation” and the Foundation ADD “Prevention of Plagiarism in Educational and Scientific Environment. Software to detect possible plagiarism in scientific and academic work.” Polish experts brought attention of participants with European approaches to scientific plagiarism and the promotion of academic integrity, as well as training of educators and academic and scientific cooperation between Ukraine and Poland. Legislation on anti-plagiarism such as the Budapest Convention – the first international agreement on crimes committed via the Internet and other computer networks, including copyright infringement, computer fraud and network security breaches was also discussed.

ОVPrysiazhnyi on December 10, 2020 participated in the international online webinar “The international webinar: World-wide experience on Covid-19” organized by Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences, Yazd, Iran. International experts from eight countries (Germany, Italy, Sweden, Ukraine, Hungary, China, Denmark and Iran) provided up-to-date information and informed on how COVID-19 has affected people. They shared practical experience for improving care in this difficult time.

2021

Associate professor ТSTishakova та associate professor ОLLevashova from 15 to 22 February 2021 took part in the online internship “Distance learning tools on the example of Zoom and Moodle platforms” Lublin, Republic of Poland. The internship focused on forms of online communication and a set of tools for educational interaction between teachers and students, which are presented on such common web resources for distance learning as Zoom and Moodle.

Associate professor ОLLevashova January 7, 2021 participated in online course “Introduction to Longevity Medicine” Udemy, San Francisco, California, U.S. During this internship she gained knowledge about the factors influencing the body aging processes and the latest advance methods in biogerontology, geoscience, medicine and ways of their implementation in clinical practice. Numerous tools for early diagnosis and prevention were also considered. The paradigm of longevity and healthy aging as a top priority will undoubtedly have a significant impact on primary, secondary and tertiary prevention.

ОVPrysiazhnyi on April 7-23, 2021, completed the international online internship “University 4.0 Digital Transformation” that took place in Brest, Belarus. Experts from the world’s leading universities shared their experience in designing and implementing educational programs and learning technologies in the University 4.0 model, innovative and methodological support for the digital transformation of higher education and additional adult education. The advantages and disadvantages of educational technologies, different online educational platforms, the transformation of higher education after Covid-19 and digital tools to support blended and online learning were also considered.
