Areas of work:
Studying the peculiarities of the professional burnout development in workers of socially significant occupations, in particular bank employees, teachers, medical workers of the emergency medical care, infectionists. Implemented since 2011 in the framework of international cooperation with occupational medicine specialists of the Department of Occupational Medicine, Medical Faculty of Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg, Germany. To master modern methods of assessing professional burnout and analysis of the results obtained in the framework of the agreement between universities, students have the opportunity to undergo research internships abroad.

The research on the combined action of environmental factors, features of adaptive biological effects formation, mechanisms of their manifestation, in particular the modifying action of positively reduced temperature, low-frequency electromagnetic radiation and ionizing radiation. Research is being conducted on the impact of environmental factors on humanity, including the social component of the environment, which includes such aspects as economic status of the region and individual, education, stress, living conditions, social support, nutrition, transport, as well as organization of the health care system. The issues of determining the risks of the influence of the social and psychological environment and the levels of susceptibility of the individual to the influence of these factors are studied.

The research of the problem of influence of simulation and information educational technologies on the functional condition of participants of educational process is begun.

Format of conducting:
The research circle is constantly working online (on the Google Meet platform) or during the experimental part of the research is at the department. In addition, once a week, for discussion of scientific activity, meetings of a circle under the direction of the scientific adviser and coordinators of scientific directions are spent.

The members of the student circle constantly participate in journalistic activity in scientific professional publications of Ukraine and publications indexed in scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science, there is also a column “Human Ecology” in the newspaper of Kharkiv National Medical University.

An annual student scientific-educational conference “Clinical Environmental Medicine. Production environment as a health-forming factor” is carried out at the department with the involvement of specialists in employment.
