Summer study in Hartwick College (New York State, USA)

Students of Kharkiv National Medical University have the opportunity to study at Hartwick College (New York State, USA), June 12-25, 2022. This non-credit summer certificate program offers students the opportunity to learn from Hartwick’s world class faculty, engage in experiential learning both on and off campus.

Equality and Public Health. This program will take a close look at the U.S. medical system, exploring its strengths and weaknesses through the lens of equity and inclusion. Students will learn the strategies, both successful and unsuccessful, of the pandemic response along with the U.S. approach to public health and wellness. Their Nursing, Public Health, and Sociology professors will lead students in the classroom and on excursions to medical facilities and support services for low-income and refugee families. Students will engage in service opportunities for the local community.

While this program is interdisciplinary and can be of interest to many students, those in the following disciplines will find it especially beneficial:

  • Public Health;
  • Pre-Medical;

Participants will experience U.S. college life. They offer trips to visit Niagara Falls, see a baseball game, or take in the sites. Students will have a full residential program with on campus activities, faculty lectures, sports, game nights, and much more.

INNOVATION INSTITUTE COST. $3,800 is all inclusive and covers innovation institute content, on-campus housing, three meals every day, off-campus excursions, on-campus events, and certificate credentials.
